I offer a free two-hour trial stay for all new dogs before booking longer visits. This gives your dog a chance to get comfortable with me, my home, and my dog, Boba. It also helps me make sure Cozy Casita is the right fit for your pup.
What the Trial Stay Is For
The trial stay is a short visit where your dog can:
- Get used to me and my routine
- Explore the environment
- Meet and spend time with Boba
- Feel comfortable away from home
It also gives me time to see how your dog does in a home setting and around another dog.
When You Arrive
When you get here, I’ll meet you outside with your dog.
We’ll:
- Go over your dog’s needs and routine
- Talk through any questions you have
- Make sure I have everything I need
To keep things calm and consistent, clients do not go inside the house. All drop-offs, pick-ups, and conversations happen outside.
House Policy
For safety and comfort:
- Only dogs are allowed inside
- People do not enter the house
- Any questions or check-ins happen outside
This helps keep the space peaceful and stress-free for the dogs.
During the Trial Stay
While your dog is here, I’ll help them settle in and keep a close eye on how they’re doing.
I’ll be watching how they:
- Adjust to a new space
- Interact with Boba
- Handle being away from their owner
- Follow basic routines
The goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable.
After the Trial Stay
When the two hours are over, I’ll meet you outside for pickup.
I’ll let you know:
- How your dog did
- How they got along with Boba
- Whether they seem like a good fit for Cozy Casita
If everything goes well, we can move forward with future bookings.
