Your furry friend is treated like family the moment they walk in. My calm and cozy home provides a peaceful alternative to traditional kennels. With access to both indoor comforts and a fenced outdoor space, your furry friend can explore, play, and relax in an environment that feels familiar and comfortable.
Safe and Supervised Playtime
Dogs enjoy structured and engaging play sessions that are tailored to their individual energy levels and temperaments. Activities may include outdoor play, enrichment games, structured walks, or calm indoor engagement. Every session is supervised to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Small-Group Socialization
We specialize in small dogs and create thoughtful social groups for dogs who enjoy being around others. Introductions are slow and intentional to help each dog build confidence and feel secure. Dogs who prefer their own space are never forced into group play.

What Cage-Free Boarding Means at Cozy Casita
Cozy Casita de Pets provides a cage-free boarding experience. Dogs are not kept in crates during the day or night. They live freely in the home and choose where they want to rest or sleep, with most dogs settling together in the living room or finding a quiet spot elsewhere.
Crates are only used during mealtimes and for a short period afterward to support safe digestion and prevent bloating. If your dog is crate trained at home and you prefer they sleep in their crate, I can accommodate that upon request. Other than mealtimes or owner-requested crate use, dogs remain fully cage-free.

What to Expect When Your Pup Comes Home
- It’s completely normal for dogs, especially puppies, to behave a little differently when they return home after boarding. They might be more tired than usual, skip a meal, seem more attached, or take a little longer to settle back into their normal routine. Being away from home, even in a safe and loving environment, can take a bit of adjustment after all the excitement and stimulation.
- As someone who provides full-time boarding, daycare, and enrichment care, I’ve seen this transition happen often. Some dogs may need a bit of space, while others may seek extra comfort from you. Offering rest, fresh water, and a calm, familiar environment helps them ease back in. Most pups return to their usual selves within a day or two!
